a day in the life

this is my first album shot with a canon rebel xs

new to photography

I bought my first digital SLR (Canon Rebel XS) the other week, and I cannot be happier with my purchase. A friend of mine told me that the best way to learn is by simply TAKING PICTURES....and this is what I have done. I have yet to process these RAW photos, but I anticipate that the complexity of Photoshop exceeds that of the camera itself. I cant wait!

I will start posting pictures in the near future.

Until then, I am thoroughly enjoying this new hobby of mine for a number of reasons. The most eye-opening realization that this experience has given me so far is that life presents unique situations that are often overlooked - until now. I am finding beauty in the most mundane aspects of my life, and I am loving it.
